What a depth ladder is not
The eight-level book on a contract page is built from the snapshot. It is not resting size.

A production ladder would be a sequenced order book or a venue's aggregated depth, with a timestamp and a method. This one is symmetric around the snapshot mark and sized from the depth fields already on the contract. It exists so the terminal has a place to put a book without pretending the book is live.
Market-maker identity remains not disclosed. Do not read the ladder as a commitment.
