Funding
Funding is not a yield
Annualising the latest funding print is arithmetic. It is not an expectation.

Traders sometimes multiply an hourly funding rate by 24 and then by 365 and talk about the result as if it were a rate they will earn. The multiplication is allowed. The story is not. The rate can flip at the next interval.
EPIC labels the figure simple annualisation, shows the interval, and states the assumption that the rate is held constant only for the illustration. Receiving funding also means someone is paying it, and the position can lose more on price than it receives on funding.
The calculator on the funding page is the same formula, with the same warning.
