Why the same ticker can differ by venue
Symbol, multiplier, collateral, funding clock and corporate-action policy are all part of the contract.

A shared ticker is a starting point, not an identity. One venue can collateralise in USDC and fund every eight hours. Another can collateralise in USDT and fund every hour. A third can be a broker contract in USD at much lower leverage.
Index construction differs too. A mark that blends a cash print with a local book will not match a mark that follows the local book once the cash market shuts. Comparing last prices without comparing methods mixes three numbers that do not mean the same thing.
EPIC shows the raw venue label next to the normalised field so the translation is visible. Where the venue is silent, the cell says not disclosed.
