Fictional decentralised protocol

Meridian

Meridian is a fictional decentralised protocol. Smart-contract risk is applicable here and is only partially described.

Meridian is fictional. It is not an operating exchange. Nothing here is a term you can rely on, and EPIC does not say the design is safe.

Partially disclosed

Meridian is a fictional decentralised protocol. Smart-contract risk is applicable here and is only partially described.

Governance is a sample token vote with an emergency key. That combination is disclosed so the risk matrix can show it without calling the design safe or unsafe.

One contract in the book is marked suspended so the directory can filter trading status.

Equity-perp listings

Trading and contract model

  • Cash-settled perpetual cleared by a sample smart contract. Collateral is USDC in the file.
  • Maximum leverage is 10×. There is no fictional promise of solvency.
  • Oracle inputs are named as three delayed sources. When the independent count cannot be shown, EPIC refuses a confidence score.

Collateral and settlement

Collateral USDC. Settlement USDC. Cash-settled. No share delivery.

Funding mechanics

  • Eight-hour sample funding, paid in the collateral asset.
  • The funding formula is partially disclosed: premium over index, clamped. Coefficients are not in the file.

Reference and mark

  • Raw label: oracleMark.
  • Out-of-hours method says the oracle keeps printing from venue books. Stale-input behaviour is not fully specified.

Liquidation, insurance fund, ADL

  • Liquidation is described as a keeper-called function at the mark.
  • A backstop pool is named. Its size is historical data pending.
  • Socialised loss is disclosed as possible if the pool is depleted.

Corporate-action policy

  • The sample says corporate actions are 'handled by governance' without a timetable.
  • That is recorded as partially disclosed, not as a workable policy.

Eligibility

  • The interface sample blocks a US geolocation flag. EPIC does not treat geolocation as legal eligibility.
  • No client-classification language is published.
